How It Works | Venice Baby Gear Rentals

Ordering Process
  1. From the home page, select the Products tab from the top menu.
  2. Enter the dates you need your items, then enter the delivery zip code or select Self Pickup to add items to your cart.
  3. Fill out the order form completely, including any gate codes, access details, or special instructions.
  4. You will receive a confirmation email within 24 hours. If you do not see it, please check your junk or spam folder.
  5. That’s it. It’s that easy. If you have any questions at all, please call us at 941-236-0087.

Deliveries

Private Residences

We will deliver, assemble, and pick up your baby equipment at a private residence. Select the Private Home / Family Friends option on your reservation form and enter the address. Choose the delivery window that best fits the schedule.

We can also coordinate directly with your host and, in many cases, leave equipment on a secluded porch or side gate. If you are staying in a gated community, please be sure to include the gate code in the notes section of your order form.

Rental Properties

  1. You or someone in your party should be at the property during one of the available delivery and pickup windows for that location. Select the delivery window on your reservation form and we will meet you there. If you are staying in a gated community, please leave the gate code in the notes section of your order form or notify security that we are coming.
  2. If no one will be available at the property, we can often work directly with the property manager to coordinate delivery. In many cases, we can also leave equipment on a secluded porch or side gate. Simply select the Renting a Home or Arrange with Local Contact option on your reservation form and provide the property manager’s information in the appropriate fields. Please also let them know that you are expecting a baby gear delivery.

Hotels

Please note: if a hotel says they offer cribs, they are often referring to a Pack ’n Play or portable crib, not a full-size crib.

If you are having a full-size crib delivered to a hotel, in some cases it may be set up in your room before you arrive, depending on the hotel. Please let the hotel know to expect your delivery and we will coordinate the details directly with them.

Items can often be dropped off and picked up through the hotel front desk or concierge, so you do not always need to be present. At checkout, please return the items to the front desk clearly tagged with your name. Make sure the items are returned closer to the beginning of the pickup window you selected.

Do not leave rental items in the room upon checkout.

Separate Delivery and Pickup Locations

We can pick up your rental equipment from a different location than the original delivery address, as long as it is within the same city. Simply include the pickup address in the Special Instructions section of your reservation form. An additional fee may apply.

Please keep in mind that full-size cribs usually require a truck or van for transport.

Order Changes

Making changes to an order is easy through our order editing system. All order changes are subject to availability and will be confirmed by email. You may also call or text us at 941-236-0087 and we will be happy to help.

  1. Log in to your Venice Baby Gear Rentals order account.
  2. From there, you can view and edit your order.
  3. You will receive an updated confirmation email verifying your changes.
Billing Information

Once your order is placed, your card will be verified and then charged. Any modifications or changes to your order will be charged to the credit card on file.

We do not accept cash or checks.
